Laura and Adam
We decided to book Millie’s to do our wedding flowers as we were recommended by family friends who has also used them. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. Marie was very friendly and helpful right from the start. She went above and beyond to give us exactly what we envisaged for the biggest day of our lives. What was delivered to our venue and to both of us on the wedding morning was so much more than we were expecting. Our flowers got so many comments and people were amazed that they were fresh flowers! They looked amazing on the day and we were still receiving photos of them for the next few weeks from friends and family that we had given our centre pieces to. The bride’s bouquet, grooms buttonhole and mums corsages we have had preserved so Marie made sure they were out of this world, now we can treasure them forever. We can’t recommend Marie and her team enough, they made our day look absolutely beautiful.
Laura’s theme was based around her love for skulls! I was very intrigued when she told me. She sourced buttonhole pins with tiny skull heads on and a larger pin for her bridal bouquet which even had a tiny diamond tiara on its skull!
Her shoes and cake also included an array of skulls, but so tastefully done.
Laura’s colour theme was yellow and grey so Laura’s bouquet was a hand tied bouquet of yellow Calla Lilies and yellow Cymbidium Orchid.
The Calla theme carried on throughout the bridesmaids’ bouquets, buttonholes and the corsages including a smaller Dendrobium orchid.
With yellow being such a strong colour we decided that reception flowers should be left white. Laura knew that for her venue she wanted something tall with some kind of light. The end result looked divine and we loved every second of designing this wedding.
